Terri Visits Kideny Transplant Fan, Stacy Keibler News, Hogan Disses WWE
- Former WWE diva Terri Runnels recently traveled to London to be at the side Martin Duggan, a 29-year-old wrestling fan whose bad kidney has forced him to three-times-a-week dialysis treatments — and a kidney transplant.
“Martin is the uber fan, he’s a phenomenal fan of WWE, of wrestling in general, but he’s especially fond of me, God bless his soul,” Terri said of Duggan, who had to overcome two huge obstacles in his journey to the operating table — finding a donor and shedding a substantial amount of weight.
“He has needed a kidney for some time, but he was too obese to be put on the viable candidates list to be able to get a kidney,” Terri said.
Duggan “doesn’t necessarily have a lot of money, and couldn’t afford gym memberships,” Runnels said, adding she told him to engage in free physical activities (such as walking) to help him lose the weight he needed in order to save his life.
“I told him, to motivate him to get his20kidney … barring some personal emergency, I will be there by your side for your operation,” Terri said. “He’s become very near and dear in my heart, and its cool that I could motivate him to do what he needed to do for himself, and see the whole process come to fruition.
Wrestler’s Rescue founder Dawn Marie said it came as no shock to hear what Terri was about to do for this young man.
- Speaking of former WWE Divas, Stacy Keibler is shooting an upcoming episode of Psych.
- Hulk Hogan was interviewed by the Australian Sunday Telegraph. He said WWE buried Hulkamania because they wanted to push younger talent. He said: “World Wrestling Entertainment wanted to put me out to pasture, to put me out to the graveyard, but I’m ready to fight for another title. The WWE has this mindset, it wants to push young stars even if the fans want to see Hulk Hogan so we’re doing this [tour] on our own.”
He also talked about relocating to Australia: “With this divorce happening and my kids are grown, I’m sitting here thinking this might be a great change for me to find a nice little pad on the beach somewhere… It’d be great to just work right out of here.”

So Hogan is shooting on WWE about them being the death of Hulkamania? Normally, I’ll write some anti-WWE statement, but I think Hogan has finally lost it. When he was in the WWE a couple of years back, WWE pushed Hogan and even teamed him with Edge to become the tag team champions.
It wasn’t WWE that killed Hulkamania, it was Hulkamania that killed Hulkamania. It was also old age, major surgery, and the fact that the whole Hulk Hogan character has gone stale.
WWe was correct in pushing younger stars. Why push a over-the-hill sixty year old who can’t even hang with the younger stars.
Maybe when Hogan heard the line from (back then) P. Diddy when he said he was “bringing back hits from the 80’s”, he was talking about him. He wasn’t.
Yo Jonathan, you need to go do yo research! They werent pushing Hogan when they teamed him with ( then BUM ) Edge. They lost the tag titles less then 7 days later. But when Hogan came down to his old music ( for the first time in almost a decade or so )that night the fans, AS ALWAYS went crazy! That was years ago. The last time Hogan was really in the WWE he fought and beat Randy Orton. You dont have to be Lanny Poffo to figure out who the crowd went crazy for. Fans want Hogan. Yea, there are a few die hard Hogan haters out there, you know the same people that hate life in general usually. They normally are mental wrecks. But the majority of the wrestling world would love to see the Hulkster in the biz, as long as he wants! I mean you think Cookie Master Punk puts more butts in seats then Hogan..? Come on, now thats a joke!! Hopefully Hogan will go to TNA and turn them into a major wrestling company! Also, loving to see Lacey Von Erich in TNA. She will ALWAYS = ratings!! Thats all for now…
Hulk Rules 4 Life!!
Well Johnny, it seems that you are indeed a Hulkster fan. And I also see that you’ve made a few valiant points. I remember watching wrestling that night. And when I heard, “I’m a real American” hit, I was sent back to my adolescent days of watching Hogan when he was relevant. And yeah, Edge wasn’t the main eventer back then, but he was still highly popular. And Lacey Von Erich may be the saving grace for the Knockout division after suffering a blow following the abrupt exit of Angelina Love. And I do need to conduct research before posting my opinions on (cheap pop) The Wrestling Truth. So, there you go Johnny, you were right about a couple of things, and you were also wrong.
1) I personally don’t want to see an aging wrestler limp around the ring trying to relive his glory days (I watched Flair do it and that was enough). Besides, Hulk’s body is banged up. Damaging it more by taking unnecessary bumps isn’t such a smart idea.
2) I believe it’s Lenny Poffo, not Lanny. I could be wrong, though.
3) CM Punk (LOL to Cookie Master Punk) isn’t the iconic entertainer that Hogan was, he’s not trying to be like Hogan (that award goes to the over-hyped, overrated John Cena) but he is still entertaining enough to watch on a weekly basis.
4) Does TNA really need another over-the-hill wrestler taking up the time that could be used to promote younger and fresher talent? They already have Steiner and Nash.
I’ll confess,..yes I’m a hulkster fan,..but c’mon now. hogan is the one that killed hulkamania. \
and I also say,..let the younger guys have their own chance.!!!!
I don’t like cookie monster punk…but hell,..he plays a great heel.
johnny, what are you talking about!?!? the guys pushing 60, his spine isn’t even straight n e more, its starting to resemble the letter C. he’s done, he’s shot, it’s over!! pushing the young, “and deserving” stars is the right thing to do for the future of the business. there is no more future with hogan. if n e thing they can use him for an appearance here or there like they do with austin. hogans body is so wrecked that if u put him back on as a full time performer over time he would barely be able to walk, so we’re talking about some slow, brutal matches that even hogan fans would find hard to watch.
You guys want pushes for the younger guys? Well Bring in Hogan, and the ratings go way up. Then there will be way more people watching ( because of Hogan ) and THEN you can start to somewhat build new stars. You cant just create huge stars. People have to be watching, to learn who you are. People will watch whatever company Hogan goes to, so bringing Hulk in makes sense for the entire company!
who in their right mind finds hulk entertaining? i almost throw up when he wrestles. he can stick to his own tour.
To: Steroidamania Bulkamania losers
Lets just make hulk wrestle till he’s 102. he can use a walking cane as a legdrop and use a fist size hearing aid pointed to the crowd cause he REALLY wont be able to hear them!!! The man is D-O-N-E… give some1 else a chance… tell u what, how bout you all never get promoted at your jobs, we’ll just have a old broken down fossil keep his position while you all struggle to make a living, cause that’s exactly what hogan will do to the company for the rest of the people employed. I can’t believe these ppl!? The 80’s are gone, is “2009″…. HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…………..
We do know this is Enertainment, dont we? So if Hogan moves slow in the ring, its not only expected but ok. What sells is the storyline, and the interviews and weeks leading up to his matches. Bringing in the Hulk could ABSOLUTELY NO WAY hurt the WWE. I mean Hogan might not be the best, but he sure as hell is better then 75% of the WWE. I mean anytime you can add the greatest wrestler , or one of the greatest sports enertainers of all time to your roster it can only be a positive! Seeing a segment with Hogan on it would be better than any normal segment THAT HAS EVER been on Raw. Wrestling nowadays is a bunch of small, preppy looking ,prettyboys, and did I mention SMALL, with horrible mic skills. Ya stick with what works, and Hogan obviously works! How long can you push useless talent, that doesnt get ANYBODY outside the hardcore wwe universe to watch. These are the same morons that agreed Billy Kidman really should have beat Hogan, yea…that was good for the biz. Kenny, has way too much time on his hands, and should put the effort he puts in killing Hogan, into something more positive. What a dark world Kenny lives in. All we can do is pray for that lost soul…
God Bless, hope you all have a wonderful day!
I agree, Bring back the Hulk! Bring back The Rock , Hogan, Nash and Hall ,or Angle and I might start watching again.. If not I’ll stick to Monday Night Football, like most normal men!
HULK STILL RULES!!!! I WISH HE WOULD COME BACK TO WWE.
no, kenny sees the light.. and in that light he sees people more deserving such as bret hart, ted dibiase sr., randy savage, steve austin, the rock, etc…. fuck hogan!!! i’m done with this subject, i dont have the energy to go on about how hogan ruined the business, how he was selfish and held guys more deserving back, how he can’t wrestle for shit, how he’s a dirtbag in real life, wait a sec… i guess i do have the time for this…. ok, lets see, what else… i can go on all day. but u all can act like kids from the 80’s and choke on your flintstone vitamins, and shoot steriods up ur ass cheek to be just like your idol. shave your head while your at it so you could have the worst hairstyle of all time. hogans hair is even worse than a mullet.
