Statement On Paul London’s No Showing, Taz Speaks, Ventura Probed By CIA

From former WWE star Paul London’s website:

“Since every site thinks they know what they’re talking about on giving Paul a bad rep. Here is something that’s actually 100% true. Although Mr London has not been at the events he was scheduled for over the past few weeks, the promoters were made aware of Mr. London’s health issues and his inability to appear at their event with enough time to find a suitable replacement. We apologize to any fan who bought a ticket to these events to see Paul. Myself as well as the rest of Team London wish Paul the quickest recovery possible and hope for a full return to wrestling soon. Until that happens stay tune to Paul-London.net as more information becomes available.”

- Former WWE announcer Taz (that’s how he spells it now) is back with more Facebook thoughts:

On His Best Opponent:
“I’ve been VERY lucky to wrestle some great stars & great guys from Undertaker, Stone Cold, Rock, Kurt Angle, HHH, Sabu, Dreamer, RVD, Team 3D, Bam Bam, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho and Edge. But honestly speaking, I had LOVED working with Chris Candido!! I had the opportunity to wrestle Candido from early Northeast Indies, Smoky Mountain and ECW (the real one!). Chris was an awesome guy that I miss very much and was grossly underrated!”

On The Towel:
“Once the Taz-maniac died and TAZ was created (around 1994 or 95). Mike Tyson use to wear a white towel on his upper body that had a hole in it to slip his head trough. I thought that was bad-ass. I didn’t want to copy his stuff or his gimmick so I thought I would use a black towel (and back than sometimes an orange towel) on my head instead of like a poncho like Tyson wore. Iron Mike wasn’t the biggest dog in the fight and was from the mean streets Brooklyn USA and also was a “no frills” combatant….so in my mind I saw a connection to his persona that inspire me back than.”

On His Short WWF In-Ring Career:
“I felt like I had a certain legacy in my wrestling career before I arrived in WWE, a legacy that I was very proud of and I was concerned it would get tarnished even more by WWE….I wish it was 1 year! Along with the agents & writers they had back than and the “other powers that be”, I felt like they never had a CLUE what the Taz character was truly about. Obviously my neck issues had a lot to do with me hanging them up also.”

- In a recent interview with Chris Yandek’s CYInterview.com former wrestling star and politician Jesse Ventura revealed how he was probed by the CIA after he took the governorship of Minnesota.

“I was only in the Navy for six years. Dick was there for 32 years and Dick created Seal Team Six – the anti-terrorist unit. He also created red cell and a bunch of other things. Dick worked with the CIA probably on a far more regular basis than I ever saw any of them during my military career. I wouldn’t have known a CIA guy if he would’ve came up and bit me. I went to my old friends, my old teammates to try to get advice to pick up why they were questioning me and he was exactly right. He said, ‘They didn’t see you coming.’ They wanted to know if there were more independent governors on the horizon.”

Ventura, who is now openly admitting his belief that 9/11 was an inside job and needs to be reinvestigated has recently released his book “Don’t Start the Revolution Without Me!”

  1. I wish Jesse would have struck while the iron was hot and run for president.

He wouldn’t have had a hope in hell of winning but he damn sure would have been heard. To have his views expressed from one of the highest platforms in the world – a U.S. presidential race – would have been awesome.

  2. Instead of doing speeches he could have just played old tapes from his commentating, then he’d have got votes lol.
