Smackdown Rating Tanks, Moore Comments on His Release, Orton Update
- Unless it was an error Smackdown’s final number from last Friday tanked to 2.0 broadcast rating, which is down around 0.4 from their usual bracket. There is no reason that I yet know of to attribute to this big loss in viewers. Smackdown has been the top show as of late.
- In regards to his recent release from WWE Shannon Moore commented “The question in a lot of your heads is what is next for Shannon Moore. Where do I start? I am open to wrestle anywhere that I want to as long as it’s not on TV. I have already set some things up so I could be coming to a town near you soon. I will put a list of wrestling dates up so you guys will know where to catch me. If you are wondering how to book me if you can’t get me directly contact Bill at showbis@aol.com for booking info. The action in the ring will still be there. GasChamber Ink has been on a rapid growth in the last year and a half and I have not been able to sling ink because I have been so busy on the road sense doors opened. That’s one thing that I will be working on is Tattooing. So all of you wondering if you could get tattooed by me, now will be your chance. Check out my Tattoo Studio at www.gaschamberink.com.”
So this means that he doesn’t want to go back to TNA at this time. I’m guessing there is a bit of heat between Moore and TNA because last time he put off his contract signing despite being put over AJ Styles and pushed on TV, only to go back to WWE, so they probably wouldn’t want him.
- Although I still haven’t seen any legitimate reports from local newspapers in the Randy Orton motorcycle crash (part of me still doesn’t take anything form WWE.com seriously) Orton did mention the following on his fan forum (note I can’t be bothered to correct his grammar, plus I’m bad at times anyway):
“i was ran off the road last night at 1030 by a car that had its hi beams on and was veering into m lane during a sharp turn a the top of a hill near my home. i had no choice but to crash, and was thrown 300 feet from the concrete block that sent me flying. i was traveling about 30 miles per hour. i’m lucky to be alive. i have some pretty severe skinned up areas such as my left knee right foot, and left shoulder trap. wwe. com should be posting that it wasn’t 30 feet but 300 soon. i just called and bitched em out, for the typo. i was wearing a helmet, and if not for that i would have without a doubt been a goner. i see what the extent of my rebroken collarbone is tommorow. ill let you all know. the bike was a harley fat bob, and it was a rental. it is totaled.im happy im alive, and that the bike wasn’t mine. all i could think about was my daughter and samantha. God was definetly watching over me!!”
