Smackdown Rating, Borash Rips Raw, Lilian Garcia Update, Abe Washington
- Last Friday’s WWE Smackdown rating is in, drawing a 1.9 broadcast rating on MyNetworkTV.
- Following Raw last night TNA’s Jeremy Borash posted the following:
“The Death of WCW commercial followed by a Hornswoggle vs Chavo boxing match? Pot? Kettle? Comment floodgates are NOW OPEN!”
He has a good point, but TNA is not exactly innocent when it comes to gimmick booking, and Borash himself was involved in the final creative team in WCW when it died.
- Lilian posted an update on her departure:
“Nooooo!! Tonight is NOT my last night!!! That was a rumor. I should be here a few more weeks. Thks for all the love everyone!”
- According to Dave Meltzer the onscreen character of Abraham Washington is not too far from his real life personality, which is causing him some heat backstage.

Although TNA’s “gimmicks” are completely surrounded by the promotion and are all wrestling matches:
Special weapons matches which are not out of the ordinary in any promotion. And the Steel Asylum and Ultimate X are more to TNA’s original and more attractive identity than any lengerie match or Royal Rumble is to WWE.
borash is all talk he disses wwe like tna is the biggest thing out there, when tna actually gets out from orlando studios and into real arenas and selling out then he can actually start to diss wwe, i would say if tna starts to sue arenas and gets out of orlando they might actually start to pose a threat to wwe until then i dont think tna will actually casue a poroblem to wwe
Raw did suck ass though
…was just mostly talking. DX and Vince had that segment for like 30 minutes…MVP and Mark Henry >_> wtf…nothing left to say but Cena sucks.
Lilian should appoint Joel Gertner as the new ring announcer.
