Shannon Moore To TNA Update, Jeff Hardy’s Court Case, WWE Upset Over Twitter

- Dixie Carter posted the following on Twitter after a Shannon Moore fan campaign to get him back in TNA:
“OK OK. Told Shannon Moore I heard you guys and to call off his fans’ tweet campaign to me. I doubt Shannon’s TNA days are over.”

It’s unlikely Moore himself was behind the campaign.

- Moore’s good friend Jeff Hardy was is in court today to determine whether he’ll need to go all the way to the superior court. This hearing will basically determine whether Hardy went out with the intention to commit the crime and whether he should be criminally indicted. After reviewing the evidence they may let him off with a much lesser charged.

- WWE management are currently contemplating banning talent from using publicly using Twitter and other non WWE-Universe social networking sites in case it puts the company in jeopardy. Wrestlers have often posted drunken rants or gone off on websites and fans. The company would refer to moderate all content through the WWE Universe system.

  1. Wow WWE wants to censor their talent imagine that. Just remember guys the talent are independent contractors not employees. So how is WWE gonna enforce what the wrestlers do on Twitter.

  2. Banning Twitter? I thought the “talent” were “independent contractors”? Meaning that what they do away from the company is no business of the WWE unless it is a violation of the wellness policy. Looks like the WWE could open themselves up to a lawsuit if they tell their contractors what they can not do on their own time.

  3. Or they could just put it in all future contracts.

  4. You say the company could open themselves up to a lawsuit, but its unlikely one would ever be filed by a current employee. Fear for their jobs or the spot on the card is way too high. I think the ideas behind a wrestlers union could be interesting and it would certainly give talent considerably more protection. Will never happen though.

Vince is such a control freak. Tosser.

  5. Man, I hope Jeff gets out of this crap and back to the ring soon.

  6. Jeff’s case could be bound over to Superior Court not the Supreme Court. There’s a huge difference in the two.

  7. You’re definitely right, my bad.
