Scotty Goldman Released, Update On Steroid Dealer, Verne Gagne Update
- Former ROH star Colt Cabana, who barely scratched the WWE surface as Scotty Goldman has been released after only a handful of TV matches and some random WWE.com skits.
- Scott Siegel, the guy in The Wrestler movie that was dealing steroids, who was ironically arrested the other day for dealing steroids in real life was ultimately caught with over $100,000 in cash and 1,500 bottles of anabolic steroids. The dealer who was picked from a club by Darren Aronofsky and Mickey Rourke for is role, is facing charges of assault and steroid distribution after a high speed police chase on Wednesday.
- It appears despite a lot of local media attention legendary AWA promoter Verne Gagne will not be held responsible for attacking his dementia patient roommate Helmut R. Gutmann, breaking his hip and ultimately leading to his death. Verne’s memory retention is said to be only around a minute and both Verne and Gutmann had no knowledge of the incident after it happened. The real question is why where the pair still forced to room together despite previous altercations?
Gutmann’s daughter said “I don’t blame [Gagne], in the sense that I know he’s not fully responsible for what he did,” Hennig said. “But on the other hand, I know that my father would still be alive today if they hadn’t had this altercation. … I’m more sad than I am angry.”

It’s funny, I was just watching Goldman get his shit ruined by Umaga on SD! not three hours ago, and I was just thinking to myself that he really should have stayed on the independent circuit, because at least there he could do his thing and be himself, and put on great matches. Now I come here and see this news, it’s uncanny. Makes one wonder why they even hired him in the first place…
