Scott Hall Goes Nuts At Comedian, TNA Impact Rating

- Thursday’s TNA Impact drew a 1.0 cable rating, the same as last week. Of course this is within their usual fluctuations.

- Wrestling star Scott Hall went nuts at a comedian yesterday evening in a rage to protect the name of the late Owen Hart. He was arrested at the scene.

At last night’s “Roast For The Iron Sheik” a stand-up comedy tribute to the wrestler, at Monroe, NJ, comedian Jimmy Graham directed a joke towards the aging Bill Apter, saying “Bill Apter, you’re deader than Owen Hart.” With that a drunk Scott Hall jumped up in a rage and charged for Graham in a barrage of punches before picking up the mic and yelling that he was disrespecting Owen.

It’s no doubt that the joke was in bad taste and add that to Scott Hall being inebriated it didn’t make for a good mix.

More on this when we get it.

Keelan’s Call:
Whether Hall was drunk as a skunk or not, in my eyes the comedian deserved it and I’m sure there were more in the room that wanted to beat his ass. Saying things like that for a cheap comedic pop is lazy and there are more intelligent ways to make people laugh.

  1. Yeah…for ONCE I think Scott Hall was in the right. I’m so tired of the mentality of, “If it’s a wrestling guy, it’s okay” when it comes to disrespect.

And this moron (Graham) was in a room FULL of wrestlers. I hope Hall at least managed to nail the bastard a couple of times before being arrested.

  2. The joke, without a doubt was in poor taste. But, every joke at a roast is in poor taste. Scott Hall rushing the comic just makes Hall look bad. Fine the comic’s paycheck. That would have taught him a lesson.

  3. If that was me I would have done the exact same thing you don’t make fun of Owen Hart plain and simple. It’s like going up to any Guerrero for example Hector and saying to him “oh you’re Deaddie Guerrero’s brother” , you just knock the guys lights out in a heart beat.
