One thing people forget to take in to account is that if the original ECW was still around it would be totally different today. Just as Austin and The Rock moved on and Hogan got too old. I'd bet that the ECW roster would be far different. And because Paul Heyman was so good at reinventing the product and keeping it fresh, we probably wouldn't even have the same hardcore style. Before every match was Extreme rules, and wrestlers would go fight in the crowd or back stage,sometimes use weapons, now they are all regular matches with DQ and count outs. wrestlers very rarely go outside the ring.
