ROH Goes After Former WWE stars

With the recent change in booker, from Gabe Sapolsky to Adam Pearce, and the assumed change in direction, ROH are going after former WWE stars D’Lo Brown and Val Venis. Brown will challenge ROH champion Nigel McGuinness at Coral Springs, Florida this weekend.

With the addition of a TV deal with HDNet, many are speculating that ROH will take a more mainstream approach to their product, and it certainly seems that way with the hiring of recognizable names like D’Lo and their feelers for Venis.

Of course D’Lo and Venis were recently released during WWE’s cutbacks.

  1. I think ROH would be better if they turn main steam because of TNA Wrestling not caring about the wrestling anymore & big on the storyline ROH NEEDS main steam, there already great now they just need to be able to get on television & i would watch the program week in week out

  2. TNA care more about thier wrestling content than any other promotion. Their matches aren’t just an attempt to carry on the story line through interference or a fake heart attack but instead they are an exhibition of skill
