Ric Flair Now Open To TNA, Jesse Ventura Draws, Smackdown Rating, Mania Documentary
- Ric Flair said the following when asked by Alex Marvez if he was possibly going to TNA with Hulk Hogan:
“I haven’t entertained the idea of working there because I’ve been so loyal to WWE, but you never know what’s going to go on. I don’t want to make any predictions, but I’ve certainly got a lot left to offer. I think I would be a good addition to (TNA’s) program. Everything is about money, timing, what they want me to do and the job description. There’s a lot up in the air. I haven’t talked to (TNA ownership) yet, but I’ve had conversations with people who work there. I’ve stood by WWE, but if they’re not going to use me anymore, I’m ready for any kind of action.”
- Jesse Ventura’s new TV show Conspiracy Theory lived up to the hype and drew 1.6 million viewers in its debut episode yesterday. Like it or not the audience is growing for what was once considered a kooky fringe of society. People no longer trust their government for good reason.
This number translates to a 1.4 TV rating which beats Superstars, ECW and Impact.
There is bound to be drop off next week but it doesn’t takeaway the fact that it was “biggest audience ever for a new series launch,” on truTV.
- Last week’s episode of WWE Smackdown on MyNetworkTV drew a 2.1 broadcast rating.
- There are preliminary plans to produce a Wrestlemania 26 documentary in the 6 weeks leading up to the event. As well as documenting the storylines, the idea is show how much effort and production goes in to the event and what the show means to the stars on a personal level.

Does Flair even draw anymore?
Im not a Flair fan “these” days, so i hope he doesn’t come in.
please don’t start posting Conspiracy Theory ratings.
It won’t be weekly – But this first rating is interesting considering Jesse was a wrestler and was only just on Raw.
I thought the Conspiracy Theory show was really interesting. I’m looking forward very much to next weeks show on 9-11. There are a lot of things about 9-11 that people don’t know about and it might just make you think twice about what’s really going on. Great to hear there was such a big draw on the 1st show. Thanks for reporting it Keelan.
