Ric Flair No Longer Under WWE Contract, Brock Lesnar On Wrestling Return
- Dave Meltzer is reporting that Ric Flair has completely parted ways with WWE and is no longer being controlled in regards to his appearances and autograph signings. Flair has wanted to appear on several Indy shows to do signings and such but WWE blocked them, most notably his induction in to the NWA Hall of Fame. This is not split with any heat and he’s still likely to appear on WWE TV every so often. This has yet to be officially announced by WWE, which the probably won’t.
- Brock Lesnar was recently interviewed by the Pioneer Press and mentioned that to return to wrestling “They would have to pay me big to come back. This (Ultimate Fighting) pays good, and I’m home every night.” He went on to say how wrestling was much more grueling on the body than even UFC.
