Raw’s New Theme, Gaspard Had Swine Flu, JR Update, Raw India Note
- Following Smackdown’s lead, WWE Raw now has a new theme song in Nickelback’s “Burn It to the Ground”. The change should go ahead next week.
- Shad Gaspard who went home sick before the pre-ppv Smackdown taping turns out to have had swine flu. Like most with the illness he made a full recovery in a few days.

“We got some medical tests back this morning which eliminated me having MS which was a relief. We had been waiting on that news for over a week. We have more tests scheduled next week as the process is essentially trying to eliminate issues that I might have but likely don’t. The waiting process gets a little stressful and my wife is a Saint for putting up with my orneriness as patience isn’t a virtue for yours truly.”

The match between Jillian (w/ Chavo Guerrero) and Melina for the Divas Title was heavily edited.They only showed Melina pinning Jillian. From where did it come, was a surprise as no other part of the mach was shown.”

wow, people don’t know a damn thing about music. Try listening to the song actually, it’s straight forward rock n roll, with a tinge of blues. and pg? really? try actually listening to the words.
Just about any band that I hear on the radio is terrible. Doesn’t matter if it’s rap, hip hop, rock, country, etc. It’s all kiddie stuff or just plain ol’ stupid. Sorry.

I agree with Carl Keane about keeping the 90’s Raw theme and the Smackdown theme. Why pour money into a song that going to be off of the top 40 charts in a few weeks? And if you think the song has staying power, just go back the 8 or 9 years and count the other themes. If the songs were that good, they would still be using them.

To each his own paul. I’m more into Slayer, old Metallica, Pantera, and the like. It’s just not my thing. Just about anything, just about, that is on the radio doesn’t do it for me. I’m not into hardly anything main stream at all.
Sort of represents Raw, a older band who have had their time and are no way as popluar as they once were.
