Raw Rating, WWE Responds To Raven Lawsuit, Latest Jim Ross Thoughts

- Monday’s WWE Raw, headlined by the one off return of DX drew a 3.1 cable rating, which is the same as last week.

- There is too much to list, but to me it seems WWE will clearly win the lawsuit against Raven. They have a number of reasons why the lawsuit is unjust, which mostly seems like legal loopholes and pointing out things Raven’s party did wrong when filing the lawsuit, making it void. Basically WWE’s lawyers are ripping it apart piece by piece.

- Jim Ross is back with another JRSBARBQ.com blog. Here are the highlights:

On the Smackdown taping:
“Friday Night Smackdown seemed to really be a solid first effort for My Network TV as the show breezed along without an alarming amount of talk and featured some good in ring action. Over 50 WWE Superstars were featured on the program and I think that every champion in the WWE was featured as well.”

On the HBO wrestling series:
” I am excited that HBO is apparently going to produce a series with pro wrestling as a backdrop (no pun intended) entitled “Everybody Hurts.” A couple of thoughts on this; It will be interesting to see who, if any one, from the business might get cast for roles on this drama and will this series, coupled with the film “The Wrestler”, help create an awareness for the business that makes it more popular and more profitable? ”

On Melina:
“I hear that WWE Diva Melina will likely not return to the ring until January but that her severely injured heel is improving on schedule.”

  1. 31 CABLE RATINGS????
    WOW!it’s cool again!
even csi does only 20 not 31

  2. LMAO I missed the point. If Raw really did a 31 cable rating I’d be much richer today.
