Raw Rating, Pope D’Angelo Dinero Interview, More Hogan Drama
- Monday’s episode of WWE Raw featuring Floyd Mayweather Jr. as guest host, and Vince’s birthday, drew a 3.9 cable rating on the USA Network.
- In UK ratings news:
For the week ending August 16, 2009,
Impact from August 13… DID NOT make Bravo’s top ten charts,
therefore drawing 39,000 or less viewers for the week (the prior
week’s show did 67,000 viewers, for comparison reasons). The streak of Impact beating Raw and SmackDown in the UK is over.
Raw from August 10
drew 62,000 viewers in the live timeslot (+12,000 viewers)
drew 37,000 in the Thursday replay (+8,000 viewers)
SmackDown from August 14
drew 52,000 in Friday’s first airing (+4,000 viewers)

- From our buddy Daris Brown:
“Hit The Ropes has the first interview with TNA’s Pope D’Angelo Dinero (Elijah Burke) and he would really like to get the word out. He’s going to talk about why he chose TNA over WWE, his TNA plans and much more. This exclusive interview will go down at 6pm eastern this evening at HitTheRopesRadioShow
- Just a few weeks ago, Hulk Hogan and the mother of his children Linda Bollea finally reached an undisclosed divorce settlement that they were both satisfied with, however Linda has respaked the controversy by filing a motion against Hulk in the Pinellas County Superior Court in Florida on Tuesday for the “Enforcement of the Confidential Marital Settlement.” In the suit, Bollea claims her ex has failed to release her Harley Davidson motorcycle and pay her $225,000 due on August 7 as promised in the settlement.
And the drama continues.
