Raw Rating, Only The US Can Vote On Cyber Sunday, New WWE Employee
- For the first time since its inception at Taboo Tuesday, the WWE Cyber Sunday interactive voting; which lets fans vote on stipulations and match participants is only open to US residents. Net savvy fans can get around this with proxy servers, but it makes no sense to alienate a lot of the audience. Maybe they don’t want India coming through for the Great Khali or something.
- Monday’s WWE Raw drew a 3.0 cable rating on the USA Network, which is still very low by WWE standards.
- Press Release:
WWE has named Jared Bartie at the new Executive Vice President and General Counsel, replacing Edward Kaufman who has been with the company since 1997 and has occupied that spot since 2003. In his new role Bartie will be responsible for the Legal and Business Affairs for the company. Bartie just left the Charlotte Bobcats where he headed the community relations department. He previously worked for the NBA, United States Tennis Association and BET. This will be his second stint with WWE. “Jared already has a proven track record with WWE, and we are confident that with his leadership our organization will be able to meet the global challenges ahead,” said WWE COO Michael Sileck.

It’s pretty clear they fix the voting anyway, so it really doesn’t matter much if they restrict the votes to the US or not…
