Raw Rating Increases, Bret Hart Interview Notes, Cena Gets Cheap Pop

- There were mixed reactions from site visitors over Monday’s episode of Raw, but it seems the majority enjoyed the show as ratings went up to a 3.9 this week.

- During an interview at the Big Time Wrestling event this past weekend, wrestling legend Bret Hart commented that the best match he ever worked was against Curt Hennig for the IC title at SummerSlam 1991 and that Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 12 and Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 13 were also high on his list.

He put over Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker as guys he likes to watch on the current TV product, interestingly not mentioning TNA.

- In a related note, “either love him or hate him” John Cena got a cheap pop after Monday’s Raw cut a promo talking about how great Bret Hart was back in the day.

Considering the amount of times WWE have teased Bret Hart and not delivered, I wonder how many fans really got behind his nostalgia trip?

  1. Last weeks shows was the best and the ratings show it. WWE needs to make the Canadians look like morons every week.
