Raw Rating Goes Up, WWE Performer Beats Up Police Officer, Rock Interview

- WWE Monday Night Raw on the USA Network drew a 3.3 cable rating up 0.2 from last weeks scare. One has to assume that the extra promotion surrounding Vince’s giveaway helped, considering more viewers watched in the first hour which is not usually the norm. However it’s all fine and dandy drawing people to a money giveaway but there needs to be a hook to keep them watching.

- It just seems to get wilder down in WWE’s Florida development territory with yet another arrest, but a little more serious than a DUI this time. Contracted development star Stu Sanders was arrested on Sunday in Tampa for battery and obstruction of a police officer. According to PWInsider.com Sanders attempted to the leave the scene of an altercation and might not have been aware that the officer was indeed and officer. Sanders is one half of the FCW tag team champs with fellow British star Drew McIntyre.

- Dwayne “The rock” Johnson had the following things to say during a recent interview with the LA Times:

“It got to a point where there was nothing I was not willing to try in front of a live audience. Sometimes I stank, and sometimes it was grand slams, and those balls still haven’t come down. When I made the transition into film, I knew eventually I was going to be billed as my given name. I wanted the transition to happen naturally. Ten years ago [when he went into films and television], I didn’t want to make an announcement or a statement, ‘From this day forward, I’m an actor.’ I didn’t want to make a big deal about it. There was just a natural and easy way for the transition to happen.”
