Raw Rating, Former WWE Stars At Impact, Trademark News, DX Note

- This week’s Monday Night Raw featuring Dusty Rhodes as guest host drew a 3.6 cable rating on the USA Network, down from last week’s 3.9 number.

- Former WWE stars Kevin Thorn and Kizarny were backstage at last night’s TNA Impact tapings in Orlando. We know there has at least been some interest in signing Kizarny, who has actually worked for the company on several occasions as Sinn.

- WWE is in the process of trademarking the Celtic Warrior name for Sheamus. There doesn’t seem to be any road blocks, but the moniker was used in the 1990s by Irish boxer Steve Collins.

- It turns out the August 24th backstage DX skit was live and the background noise was not planned. This is probably why it didn’t make much sense.

Stephanie McMahon pushed the idea to give the skits more authenticity and spontaneity, but Vince was furious about it and commented that there’s a reason why they pre-tape those things.

  1. I dont know why Vince would be furious over that DX skit…It was the best thing RAW had going for it that night.

  2. Probably because he didn’t have anything to do with it.
