Raw Off Air News and Notes; Lawler Cuts Promo, Rhodes Destroyed

- During one of the commercial breaks on last night’s Raw from Dllas, Texas, Jerry Lawler cut a promo on Chris Jericho, explaining why he challenged him and why he couldn’t make the save for Flair last week due to his announcing role.

[So WWE fills in a plot hole for the live crowd but not the TV audience? *sigh*]

- When Raw went off air, Cody Rhodes got his ass handed to him by the McMahons, while the rest of Legacy left him to fend for himself. Triple H got the final blow with the Sledgehammer before the group celebrated.

  1. The ending to Raw was the show back to it’s best.

  2. love the mcmahons back together

  3. I was against the way it was done. Once again the McMahons dominate two top wrestlers? It doesn’t make sense from a logic standpoint or a business standpoint. Vince is an old man and Shane is, well an average looking middle aged guy.

  4. If they really want to turn HHH heel again they are doin a good job aligning him with the mcmahons, I think they should have let shane and vince come out with security and not let legacy leave the ring, then HHH come out of the crowd and sneak attack legacy, whilst Orton got away through the crowd, that whole lets end the show with everyone fighting is a stupid way to end it, thats why peeps buy the PPV is to watch them wrestle/fight. You have to leave the audience with an ending, example-HHH gets beat down, legacy gets beat down, legacy escapes, it is not smart to end it in a brawl.

  5. i think the wwe title match should be in a hell in a cell this sunday at wm25. it’ll show if randy ortan can back it up. or will he need help from his flunkies to help him win? his actions as well as his cowardness shows that he cannot achieve his goal. now, what kind of loyalty is that?

  6. I agree with Keelan. WWE is worried about the future after the older stars retire, but they seem to go out of their way to make the young guys look weak. First the #1 contender Orton needed two guys’ help to beat 39 year old corporate wimp Shane McMahon, and now Rhodes & Dibiase get beaten down by said wimp and his 63 year old father? How does that set them up to compete with the likes of HHH, Cena, and Edge in the future?
