Raw News; Including Dark Match Results, Vince’s Return and More
- There was a dark match main event at the end of last night’s WWE Raw from the New Orleans Arena, that pitted World Heavyweight Champion John Cena against Chris Jericho. Cena won with the FU.
- As noted Christian Cage was backstage at the show after arriving with Val Venis. He is set for a major feud with Jeff Hardy.
- In case you missed the show, it was announced that Vince McMahon will return to Raw in two weeks in Chicago, Illinois. It will be the final Raw before the Rumble and he will be coming to “confront” Stephanie in a “McMahon showdown”.

Oh my gosh how many times Chris Jericho is going to job to John Cena in a dark match. Is Jericho in trouble?
No he’s not in trouble, that’s just the nature of dark matches. Because they are specially for the live crowd and not acknowledged on TV it really doesn’t matter. WWE obviously see’s a good pop with the outcome and are just repeating it in each town. House shows themselves often repeat the same cards over and over.

My guess is they’ll just call him Christian as that’s his WWE name. No idea when his actual in ring return will be, but the storyline will start tonight on SMackdown.
Thats class for WWE to get Christan. Will he have any doings with Edge like before.
I think Christian made a real mistake in going back to WWE as he said the reason he left was the domineering busy schedule they have. Well it hasnt slowed down so we ll see if he can adapt
I understand what Wolf is saying, at the same time i think it might be a good thing for him….when Jeff came back, WWE finally gave him the push to be a Heavyweight contender….hopefully they do the same for Christian…FELLOW CANADIAN!! lol
