Raven Back In Shape, Shane Douglas Isn’t, Jeff Hardy Update, Abyss News
- One factor influencing the return of ECW original Raven to TNA is that he’s now back in pretty good shape. During his last run he was dealing with a thyroid problem, that caused him to put on weight. After taking time off, doing a movie etc he has gotten his medical problems in check and is back for a final run, he is 44.
- The feeling is that Shane Douglas won’t be on TV for long, at least not in a wrestling role. Douglas also 44 tried to retire from the business in Randy The Ram fashion, working in Target and then as a history teacher, but it seems he’s got the bug and can’t stay away. Unlike Raven he is said not to be in ring shape and has previously gone on record saying he needs pain pills to cope in the ring.
- In WWE news, Jeff Hardy has yet to sign a contract and earlier reports that he has were taken from Matt Hardy’s Myspace. Basically he was sending out a red herring because he’s childish, later admitting he does his blogs for attention. “I love putting pieces of info out there that allow people to interpret it how they wish.”
- TNA’s Abyss filmed an energy drink commercial at the Impact tapings.

That’s not childish, that’s playing with websites that like to post retarded crap in the first place. Good for him, I say. (well, most sites do anyway, I know at least one that keeps it in check.
)
Raven looked in awesome shape, but the Fatchise sure didn’t.
And Victoria looked better than she ever did in WWE… wow.
It just makes more shit get posted. plus most people that follow wrestler’s Myspace religiously are big fans.
IF you have been following Matt’s website, it was EASY to tell that it was his Black Cloud gimmick he has been using for the past year. People ALSO thought it was him denouncing Jesus and a bunch of other bullshit. Fact is, many people use the internet just to mess around. It isn’t childish, he isn’t looking for attention, he’s just having fun like MOST famous people do on their websites.
I for one called that it was his Black Cloud gimmick, which he later said it was, and the whole signing…HELLO!!!! Jeff Hardy is getting a World Title shot, the contracts were signed on that, and his character isn’t getting any World Title shots even when he is wrestling with a broken hand. THUS, he was complaining, IN CHARACTER, about that. Was that so hard?
As for Shane Douglas, dude is a douchebag. Has killed just about every promotion he’s been in and I hope his return isn’t for a long time. Still bitter over his XPW thing.
Vic, though…DAMN. She looked HOT and it’s going to be good seeing her fight Love…even though she is just probably going to put her over.
So he sits on Myspace all day making up weird internet personas, which he knows are going to throw people off about his brother’s contract situation, so he can then sit there and say “ha ha Newz sites”. I find that pathetic personally. I love his current work, but come on. Cryptic blogs and all that. He loves to google his name.
Which celebrity person doesn’t? Ever heard of Twitter?
And the Black Cloud is his wrestling persona. Again, Had you WATCHED Smackdown over the course of the Hardy vs Hardy feud, he repeatedly referred to himself as the Black Cloud or whatever it was hovering over his brother Jeff and THEN took it to his myspace. Not his fault everyone was talking about the contract and not the title match. What happens when you jump to conclusions…Shame on those sites and people, not him.
See that’s the annoying point, he knew full well that it was going to stir shit and 90% of people were going to think that he was taking about Jeff. So yes it is his fault. But kudos to him for causing some controversy and heat. At least he knows how the net savy age works, I’ll give him that. And it gives me something to write about. We’re all winners.
HAHA very true. More wrestlers need to use the internet to their gain. BUT he WAS talking about Jeff, I’m pretty sure. Like I said, it just wasn’t about the contract renewal, I think it was about the title match. Our fault for jumping to conclusions. Can’t fault him on that one.
I do think, however, that he should make two accounts, one for his in character stuff, the other for his continuous plug of The Hardy Show, which I have yet to watch.
