Punk Injured, JR and King Support Monkey Abuse, Spin Cycle Airing On TV?
- Although he is no selling it, the feeling is that CM Punk is working with some kind of shoulder injury. As of now he seems to be working through it.
- It’s odd enough that Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are doing a non WWE wrestling appearance, but they are doing it for Dragon Gate, the company that was recently exposed for abusing a monkey.
They will be at the 9/6 event in Chicago, IL, doing autographs.
- Jeremy Borash is once again pushing for getting the online TNA Spin Cycle who on a TV network and posted on his Twitter page that they have shot two pilot episodes to shop around. “We shot these episodes as pilots for a television network. Have to keep details hush or face certain execution.”

Okay, so what? They are appearing for Dragon Gate. It isn’t the whole company that does it, it’s a couple depraved jackoffs. And here I thought you called it the wrestling truth.
Yeah well we aren’t all perfect like you clearly are.
Okay, it wasn’t the “whole company” but wasn’t it a fairly large portion of the roster who were abusing this animal…and in the company’s own dojo???
If I don’t have the facts straight, please correct me if I’m wrong.
Have these pieces of garbage been punished for their actions? Has any kind of apology been issued?
How about a follow up on what’s been done about this horrible situation (or maybe there already has been one but I missed it. If so, I apologize).

So where’s your proof they’re supporting monkey abuse? Or is that just you editoralizing your news?

The point is Dragon gate did nothing about it. If you turn a blind eye then your just as guilty as they are.
Of course they don’t support monkey abuse, but when they nonchalantly take an offer from a company that let monkey abuse go on then I think it’s a little messed up. People don’t have morals anymore just wallets. Considering the shit that goes on in wrestling and WWE I may be a little skewed in my views, but I’m allowed my views.
I wouldn’t take an article order from an animal abuser or a company that did nothing to punish the monkey abusers on their watch, who then downplayed it in the news and tried to hide the facts.
On a side note the main problem with the mainstream news is that nobody does editorialize it anymore, they just rehash press releases. That’s why we think a man in a cave blew up the twin towers with no help.
Thats a bit like saying they support durg use, and double-murder-suicide as they work for WWE. Hopefully they won’t read the headline and sue!
Not really, WWE has a Wellness Policy, and Nancy and Daniel weren’t under WWE’s care.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think what Keelan is trying to say that Dragon Gate did nothing to stop the abuse to the monkeys, and it’s fair to say that they knew about it. JR and King are old enough to realise that by agreeing to do autographs, it is going to look bad on them. They’ve been in the business long enough to know that if you associate oneself with something like that, you’re going to come out looking bad.
WWE do know about their drug problems, but (whether it works or not, is another question altogether) they do have the Wellness Policy. The difference is that Dragon Gate did nothing to try to stop the abuse to the animals.

I don’t think people are going to boycott Raw or Smackdown and cause them to be out of pocket because of my opinion on a blog.

Keelan Balderson and most others here seem to be really stupid. If you’d even heard of or knew anything about dragon gate before this story, or talked to anyone who trained in their dojo, you would know that the monkey lived happily there for many years before this. All this stems from pictures taken where two student wrestlers pretend to choke the monkey and wrote a fictional blog about it (bad taste, I know). The monkey know lives with the family of one of the wrestlers. And you’re all pissed or something because they didnt fire everyone and announce to the world that they are all monkey abusers.
Marvel YOU are blatantly the stupid one! Last time I checked Shingo was one of their major stars not a rookie wrestler. FAIL

The fact is wrestlers in the company abused the monkey and then the company covered their tracks like cowards. Ross and Lawler may not condone animal abuse but they are more than happy to get a paycheck from the scumbags that let it happen.
Pretend to choke the monkey? Holding it by its neck is not pretending. And there are far far worse pics than that, which this site obviously didn’t publish because it is respectable.
You’re right, the monkey now lives with a new family, one of the wrestlers’, however pictures show it clearly upset, and chained in a small cage!

Ha ha ha Defamation of character. I’m a Law graduate and writing an opinion on a privately owned blog that doesn’t infringe on anybody’s ability to make a living or hurt their current public standing is farrrrr from defamation of character. I guess this Nemo guy is also one of those that support the cyber bullying act. “Oh he said a nasty thing about on the internet, arrest him.”
I second the editorialization of the media also. They just repeat what they’ve been told to say instead of adding some human opinion and analysis. Swine Flu? How did 3 different types of Flu that Swines can’t catch end up infecting humans and end up being called Swine Flu?
