Poll Results: Do You Enjoy McMahon’s Million Dollar Giveaway?
The WWE Million Dollar Giveaway is now dead and Vince McMahon got crushed by some scaffolding (pretty bad taste considering that TNA ring crew worker only just died from a similar accident).
We asked you whether you enjoyed the giveaway segments and it turned out less unanimously negative than I thought. Maybe Great Khali swayed the votes a little. Here’s how it went down:
Yes I think the segments are absolutely hilarious: 14%
Yeah they are pretty entertaining: 22%
No they are boring and a waste of time: 22%
I think the whole concept is stupid and will do nothing for the ratings: 23%
WWE is just desperate but I don’t really care: 19%
That’s 64% of people that didn’t like them in some shape or form.
So lets see what happened. Vince gave away millions of dollars, exposed that he’s getting old and can’t dial a phone, seemed generally nasty to all of his fans that rang up, the ratings barely moved an inch and we got to see Charlie Haas play tonsil hockey with Mae Young. Probably not Vince McMahon’s best marketing method. Although he now has a hefty database of emails that can be used to plug WWE products with.
