Openly Gay Wrestler Writes Book, Road Warrior’s Book, Backyard Wrestling Series
- Press Release:
Memories of drugs, sexuality, diabetes and the struggle to gain notoriety in the
arena of professional wrestling conspire in No Forwarding Address – The Cameron
Star Project.
Aaron Nelson, – an aspiring author and independent professional wrestler -
shares memories of his childhood in a violent and drug-controlled household, followed
by coming to terms with his sexuality, and how he implemented all of these elements
into one recipe to seek success in the world of independent professional wrestling as
Cameron Star.
Nelson’s primary focus is on his climb through the ranks of professional
wrestling from trainee, to wrestler, to trainer and promoter, and goes into detail on the
choices – both good and bad – he has had to make to get to the next step. He also
recalls time spent with his trainer and close personal friend – the late “Playboy”
Buddy Rose.
Contributors to this project include current professional wrestlers Jason
Sullivan, Quiz, “Heartthrob” Erik Hanson, Skag Rollins and Shane Chung, as they
will share their thoughts and opinions on the man who helped evolve what is and is not
acceptable in independent professional wrestling, most notably in the Pacific
Northwest.
A portion of the profits from this project will be donated to support charitable
foundations for children.

Tijuana Entertainment in California currently looking for high impact, high flying and hard hitting, but crazily creative backyard wrestlers over the age of 18 and located in Southern California with their own backyard ring, costumes and techniques for a brand new TV show for A&E!
The show is an hour long, non-scripted, documentary/reality show following our host, Bob Saget (formerly of Americas Funniest Home Videos and the sitcom Full House), as he explores American society off the beaten path.
