Off Air News and Fallout From Raw
- The Miz posted on his Twitter when Bob Barker arrived, saying “Backstage all anyone can talk about is Bob Barker, has to be the most excited everyone has gotten”.
- Prior to the show going on air Jamie Noble defeated developmental worker Alex Riley.
- There was a bit of a botch with Bob Barker following Big Show vs Santino Marella. After the squash Barker cluelessly asked “was Santino the winner?” Before announcing that Show had to face Mark Henry.
For whatever reason during the commercial break Big Show left the ring and re-did his entrance, which left fans confused.
- After Raw went off the air there was no dark match, but John Cena, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels each took a side of the crowd for a “loudest cheer” contest, and then proceeded to celebrate with some kids on the stage.
- During the show it was announced that Trish Stratus will indeed be hosting next week’s Raw from Toronto.
- Also during the show it was revealed that Batista will be at next week’s Raw to make a “possible career altering announcement”.

So I guess Trish will make history being the first female to host Monday Night Raw.
Barker was one of the worst guest host! Some good matches but Barker did not seem to know why he was there!
Retirement or GTFO!
Hewas playing up on the fact he’s old, the big show santino thing was probly barker making fun of bigass show
I really hope Batista isnt legitametly retiring. Yes, his promos and in-ring skills suck, but he is still very fun to watch, as he truely is one of the very rare ‘power’ wrestlers. He’s stronger than Triple H and is more agile than Mark Henry.
If he took a year off, got into better wrestling shape, he could jump ship to TNA, which would give him more rest time, have him live closer to home and could seriously become the one player TNA needs to get to the next level.
could it be that Batista is going to move over to films ala Stone Cold and The Rock??
