SMACKDOWN results. The show was recorded on 10th November and will be on TV on Friday 13th, so please don’t read if you don’t want to know the results prior to watching.

Show began with CM Punk cutting a super-heel promo on the crowd. R-Truth was out next and also cut a good (but short) promo. Maybe a push will be on the cards? CM Punk won the match via pinfall but held the ropes to aquire the win.

Natalya pinned Mickie James due to the distraction caused by Michelle McCool and Layla who cut up Mickie’s clothes in front of the ring. This rivalry is hotting up and good see some good matches.

Next up Drew McIntyre promised a statement and made one. Himself & Finlay both got a DQ for brawling but McIntyre had the final say using the shalayley (anyone know how this is spelt?). But after Finlay had been treated McIntyre re-appeared and repeated his actions, and then again for a third and final time! Finlay sold his injuries really well!

Matt Striker hosted a contract signing (why wasn’t Teddy here?) between Batista & Rey which ended with Rey flipping the table over Big Dave to embaress him!

A poor IC title match saw Morrison and Ziggler ‘fall’ from the turnbuckle for a double count-out. Next week the title is back on the line in a 2 out of 3 falls match!

Beth Pheonix pinned ‘Lisa Taylor’ who was billed from Birmingham. Taylor didn’t do anything to suggest that she should have been in the ring. Surely if Beth needed an easy win they could have used a Bella Twin or Maria, neither of whom were present. (Or at least not shown to us)

Next up for the first time ever – Undertaker -v- Y2J Chris Jericho.

Really good match. In the end Jericho tapped out but then Big Show joined us and Jeri-Show beat down on the Deadman. But Kane made the save! Big Show exited the ring but Y2J stood his ground and looked shocked to realise Show wasn’t there before being Choke-Slammed.

I really hope to see Jeri-Show -v- Taker & Kane on Smackdown next week.

A great show unlike Raw on Monday which was really poor.

Finally… A post-match dark match saw the World Title defended by Undertaker against CM Punk in a casket match. Was interesting but so unrealistic as it only took the Deadman about 5mins to beat CM Punk, who was fresh!
