Not Just Pro Wrestling With Drug Allegations, Another Michael Hayes Comment
- I found this story particularly interesting when browsing google news. It’s not just pro wrestling that has come under fire for drug problems, but Sumo Wrestling has just found it self in a scandal.
“The sacred Japanese sport of sumo has suffered another body-blow with allegations by a Russian wrestler recently excommunicated from the sport for drug taking, that he was bullied, forced to throw bouts and that substance abuse is rife in sumo stables.”
The wrestler commented “I was forcibly handed money to fight unfair bouts,” the 20-year-old wrestler claimed. “If I refused to take the money, I was bullied. I want to make the world of sumo clean again. As far as marijuana is concerned, the bosses and wrestlers who are smoking it are not being punished.”
- Thanks to Amo:
“While watching WWE 24/7, In the TV Classics section, they have a show called WCCW from 4/30/83. Before this actually starts, Kevin Von Erich and Michael P.S. Hayes set up what the show will cover. While introducing each other to the viewers, Hayes called himself Michael Von Erich. Mike Von Erich is a actual brother of Kevin who committed suicide by a overdose in 1987. Kevin looked uncomfortable for a moment but then carried on with the piece. Hayes had to have know about this. He really needs to start to think before actual words come out of his mouth.”

If it hasn’t been proven before, it is now: Hayes is a Goddamn moron.
I have another one of those WCCW Classics with Kevin Von Erich and Hayes. Hayes goes on a weird, supposed-to-be-funny rant about how Kerry was the spoiled one and he could do no wrong in Fritz’s eyes while Kevin and David could do no right.
Kevin seemed waaaaay uncomfortable and kind of stammered his way out of it.
I like Michael Hayes but it’s like there is no space between his brain and mouth whatsoever.Amo’s right: Hayes should really think about the things he says.
