No More Hell In Cell, Helms Not Out Yet, Tiffany Dated Carlton Banks

- In yet another groan worthy move for long time wrestling fans, WWE are planning to remove the “Hell” from the “Hell In a Cell” match concept.

Wrestling has come along way since the days of live ritual sacrifice on Raw.

[EDIT: this ^ was a false rumor please ignore, my apologies].

- Hurricane Helms does not appear to be out quite yet. He teamed with Evan Bourne in a losing effort against The Hart Dynasty at Binghamton, New York, house show Saturday.

It is possible that his interviewing gig was just to allow him more time to heal.

- The latest issue of WWE Magazine has an interview with interim ECW General Manager Tiffany. In the interview, she acknowledges a previous relationship with Alfonso Ribeiro of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fame. They ask Tiffany if he ever performed the “Carlton Banks dance” in front of her.

“I’ve seen him do it a few times, and he did it for me for my birthday in Las Vegas,” Tiffany said. “It was the most random birthday party. There was this guy dressed as Santa Claus, but he was wearing a Rey Mysterio mask and dancing with Alfonso. I think I won the award for weirdest birthday ever.”

  1. cant believe they removing the name “Hell in a Cell” it seems to me that a bit of the WWE seems to be dying day by day…

  2. Just did some more digging. It’s just a false rumor. My bad guys.

  3. I have 4 children, and I’m very careful about the types of movies/shows I let them watch. BUT, the WWE is getting ridiculous! When I was a kid, I watched wrestling all the time and have continued to watch sporadically through the years. Since January of this year, my kids have become huge fans, and we watch it religiously. Even being strict about what they watch, I’m very disappointed with the PG rating. What is wrestling without a little blood and cussing??? Now to change “Hell in a Cell” to leave out the word HELL-OMG, have children never heard this word before? WWE is getting ridiculous with this.

  4. Well now that the PG rating is in action with the WWE….the hell in a cell matches will be hugely less entertaining than previous ones. No more brutal blood baths…no more death defying stunts and hardcore action will be down to an all time low. I was 7 when i watched the hell in a cell match between Undertaker vs Mankind at king of the ring 1998…i thought it was one of the best matches of all time due the priveledge to view the complete and utter carnage of both superstars!

Ah well…WWE aren’t stupid…they will find some sort of “loop hole” which means it’s not dangerous for the children or a bad influence! I’m just glad this “hell in a cell” thing was a false rumour! That would have been just pathetic!

  5. Once again they are taking away a part of the WWE that was a draw for us adults. Do they forget they were flailing against WCW and the WWE attitutde along with HELL YEA Steve Austin finger flippin beer drinking SOB saved their sorry butts. I stopped watching WWE back when they started doing stupid stufff ie Ultimate warrior being bitten by a python and seeing wild colors WTF was that. I came back with the attitude and have been somewhat intertained since. However WWE has always been commercialized I hope they dont dumb it down so much I lose intrest.

  6. Helms came out as The Hurricane by the way.

  7. WWE has become what Vince used to say about Billionaire Ted. Remember Standards & Practices. That happens when you go public. Without perversion, really what is WWE? We want “good” entertainment not 1 hour of running your mouth about nothing. Just wrassle.

  8. why McMahon is destroying WWE , WHY??WHY??

McMhon listen do whatever you do but wrestling will not ever be a show of kids , yeah i really miss those bloodbaths and hardcore stunts

  9. when i was a kid i watch the hell in a hell match and i don’t see nothing wrong.TNA is much better now than wwe

  10. Momo’4 It Is Not GETING REDICULUSE IT IS REDICULUSE,parden my ecpresu=ion but Vince Has Lost his balls! At one time he wouldv pissed on the sencers now wether or not they bend over he pucker &plants one,Im sorry if i offend anyone but its true his ego is so big it might eclipse the sun,thw world now is all about rap, drugs, sex, violance and anything that breaks the rules the word changs but mcmahon wont change with it.he has brought WWE back to the 80’s.

  11. I hope Helms starts using his Underdog move more, and makes it his main finisher. I love that move.

  12. Vince will not get rid of the “hell” for the cell, as it is only a ppv match, and there is still a little sac left in his pants, i think that tna is not better than wwe, but a weak wcw clone, as the main event mafia proves no one gets the push they deserve with all the big boys up front

  13. when was the last huge crazy bump off the HIAC it was in the year 2000 the only half decent HIAC since was Y2J vs HHH

  14. Looks like Helms will return as the hurricane after on last weeks ECW a ‘green blur’ supposidly saved the lighting crew.

  15. Wrestling is dying now…and for that, i’m very sad!

  16. VKM had better be careful about what he is doing with his TV Shows. If he gets too soft, he will lose his adult fan base. Without the “Hell” in hell in a cell, there really is no more adrenaline stomping action in WWE anymore. People will start watching TNA from now on and tna ust see this as their ticket to taking out wwe. TNA is indeed a clone of WCW but also ECW which brings in the attitude that needs to thrive in the wwe if it needs to survive.

  17. yeah, but the ladder matches have always been my favourite although there not nearly as extreme as they used to be

  18. Good point! Thanks!
