New WWE DVD, Sci-Fi and ECW To Extend Deal, Lilian Garcia At Boxing

- WWE are set to release a “Best of Saturday Night’s Main Event” on February 10th. It is likely to include mostly old footage with a sample of some of the modern day versions of the show.

- Time Warner cable is airing a Best of Survivor Series special on the sports on demand station.

- WWE’s deal with Sci-Fi comes to an end in December, although all signs point to it being renewed. The channel has already released its 2009 schedule and ECW is still listed. Although they were skeptical of the programming to begin with they are now more than happy with its success and are working to get more cross promotional shows out like the Ghost Hunter with the Miz and Chase with Ricky Ortiz.

- WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia sang the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden in New York City for the HBO Boxing match between Roy Jones, Jr. and Joe Calzaghe.
