It was rumored a few months back that a new Evolution type faction was going to be brought in to WWE and it seems to have come to fruition, with Randy Orton as the leader. The seed was planted last week on Raw when Orton motivated Rhodes and DiBiase to take back their tag team title from Cryme Tyme and last night at the PPV they took it to the next level by attacking CM Punk and storyline injuring him so he couldn’t compete in the scramble match.

This was most likely done to get the title from Punk, without having to make him lose in a match, although its going to take a while for him to get that credibility back.

The newest member of the group is Afa Anoai Jr. The son of WWE Hall of Famer Afa the Wild Samoan. Part of the big Samoan family that includes The Rock and Rikishi. It appears he is now a main roster star, after impressing in development, despite trying to cheat and ultimately failing a Wellness Policy test earlier this year. Last time I saw him he was skinny with a shaved head.
