New Downloadable Content Released For Smackdown vs Raw 2009

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – April 16, 2009 – THQ Inc. and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. today announced the availability of new content for WWE® SmackDown® vs. Raw® 2009, the latest release for the leading fighting videogame franchise. Now available for download via Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, as well as the PlayStation®Network for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, the content allows players to update their WWE gameplay experience with new playable Superstars. WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 originally launched on November 9, 2008 and is available at retailers worldwide.

The content package, which takes a trip down WWE memory lane, features playable Superstars Bushwacker Butch, Bushwacker Luke, Doink the Clown, Earthquake and Vader. Xbox LIVE Marketplace users are able to purchase the content for 400 Microsoft Points, while PlayStation Network users can enjoy these new Superstars for a suggested retail price of $4.99.

  2. Probs have something to do with getting people to buy both for the import feature.

  3. Not that I mind, but I would rather they added some current wrestlers like Jack Swagger, Primo or Christian.

  4. why have they still not made christian cage downloadable?

  5. How do we download these new playable characters, I can play them on my playstation 2?
