MVP In The Doghouse, Randy Orton Update, Undertaker News

- According to the Wrestling Observer, MVP of all people is in the proverbial “doghouse” with WWE management. In fact Shelton Benjamin who has been considered a good worker but often inconsistent and lazy is now in a higher position than MVP, with some officials pointing MVP to study Benjamin to learn how to improve. Ouch.

- Randy Orton will not actually be cleared to wrestle until around the Survivor Series PPV, so it seems after all the speculation his injury was legitimate. You can blame local media and WWE’s sensationalism for that one.

- I reported a few days ago that one idea was to have Undertaker face the winner of the Smackdown Championship Scramble match at Unforgiven on the same night. That appears to off according to Dave Meltzer. As always WWE change their plans at least 20 times a day.

Keelan’s Call:
- The MVP thing seems a little out of the blue to me. Meltzer isn’t always right, and often reports what he’s been told, even if it’s just by one person and people can obviously send out bullshit for their own political reasons. MVP is perhaps one of the few people ready to be a breakout star, he studies old tapes and is a real “student of the game” so as to speak and is 1 million times better on the mic than Benjamin. We’ll have to see where that goes.

- I know I was one of the main proponents of the Randy Orton “worked injury” argument, but as I’ve said, when WWE mix storylines and real news on the same website and sensationalize it by saying he flew 300 feet its their own fault for leaving us in doubt. At the same time no local media reports or statements from hospital made it all sound a little fishy.
