Moondog Spike – Moondog Cujo

According to PWInsider.com Moondog Cujo, real name Larry Keans has passed away following a car accident. Not much details is known, other than he was the driver of the vehicle. He was 48 years old.

Keans is best known for working various hillbilly gimmicks, most famously in the WWF as Cousin Junior in the 80s, when he was part of the Hillbilly contingent alongside Hillbilly Jim (Jim Morris), the late Uncle Elmer (Stan Frazier) and Cousin Luke (Gene Petit).

He then got some fame playing the Moondog gimmick of Moondog Cujo during the 90s USWA era. He continued wrestling until 2007 on the Indys.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

  1. He didn’t die in a car wreck.
It was from a heart attack.

    He will be missed dearly.
