Mick Foley’s Contract Up Soon, Adamle As GM Was Kept Quiet, Flair’s Son

- According to Dave Meltzer, Mick Foley’s contract could but up as soon as the Summer, which probably means he never negotiated new one before becoming an announcer. There’s no news that he doesn’t want to re-sign, although I have heard that he isn’t happy with the amount of shouting and coaching he’s getting through the ear piece whilst calling a match.

- Similar to the draft, almost everyone was kept out of the loop in regards to Mike Adamle becoming the Raw general manager. Even the top star on the show and “buddy” of Vince McMahon, John Cena was as surprised as anyone when Adamle was announced.

This falls under WWE’s recent unofficial policy of keeping things quiet from the employees so as not to get things leaked to the internet.

- Ric Flair’s son Reid has yet to sign a WWE development contract despite numerous reports. He’s done a small amount of training outside of WWE and appears to want to wait until he is older before taking a development deal.
