Melina Out For 3 Months, Chris Jericho Defedning Tonight, Divas Match Off

- It was confirmed on WWE Smackdown the other night that Melina, who appeared to injure her foot on the Raw draft episode has in fact fractured her heel. She will have to have surgery to fix the fractured bone back in to place, and it’s not thought she’ll need fusion. All going well she shouldn’t be out of action for longer than three months.

- Chris Jericho has yet to have an opponent announced for the Night Of Champions PPV tonight so it’s thought some kind of storyline will take place on the PPV itself setting up a match for the IC title.

- Smackdown which airs internationally before it does in the US did make a mention of the Divas title match for tonight, although it was cut from the US version meaning it has probably been pulled for time constraints.
