Mayweather Causes WWE Mayhem, Batista Dates Rosa Mendes, More JR
- For the record Floyd Mayweather was indeed late for his guest host spot on Raw a few weeks back. This is why the Vince McMahon birthday celebration dragged on, because they were “winging it”.
- WWE star Batista is known for his long list of Diva girlfriends, and he revealed one more during an interview with Hot 99.5 in DC. He said that he was dating Rosa Mendes a couple of months back. He also joked that he has a thing for twins, and that WWE has a set.
- Jim Ross is back with another JRSBARBQ.com blog update. Here are some wrestling highlights:
On Bryan Danielson:
Bryan, trained by HBK, has apparently agreed to a deal with WWE which is a smart move on the WWE’s part. I think Danielson should have been signed long ago but that’s just one man’s opinion. Danielson’s skill level is superb even though he isn’t the biggest dog in the hunt which, thankfully, seems to be meaning less and less these days.
On Chavo:
We got a ridiculous amount of emails this week damning the Chavo Guerrero-Hornswoggle storyline. WAY too much venom for a non main event issue. It looks like Chavo & Evan Bourne will be competing soon which should allow those emailing us with major issues on this matter to chill.
On Trish:
It will be great to see Trish Stratus in Toronto in a couple of weeks guest hosting Raw in her home town. As a matter of fact, it’s always good to see “Canada’s Greatest Import” anywhere.

A little off topic, KEELAN, what do you think of Sting retiring from TNA? Me, personally, I wouldn’t be surprise to see Sting in WWE. I know he said that he would never work for Vinnie Mack, but Brett said something along those lines as well, and he went back.
What are the odds that Sting would be brought in to WWE?
I think there’s still a WWE run left in Sting, if only for one storyline. I still think he has name value to the mainstream audience and there are several dream matches. Sting vs Taker! Sting vs HBK! Sting vs Triple H even. My only problem is I think TNA over exposed him, at least to the hardcore audience; he has a shell of his former mystique.
It’s a surprise he never ever went there. It could be the travel, but the money! He could have made a bomb after WCW.
I dont know about this Sting thing.
1.Old stars usually go to TNA from WWE to die off.
2.Name one old timer that went from TNA to WWE who has never been in WWE and got a main event status level.
3.Sting has no history with the current stars so a storyline would be hard to push. If Ric Flair or Hogan was still around they could push that old line.
True but Sting is unique. He hasn’t been exposed to the WWE audience. I still think there’s something there.

I know keelan and everyone else thinks I’m nuts, but I figure all of the old dudes in TNA need to quit and let the young guys in. that tna “mafia” needs to go,…

yeah yeah,..they use old talent to bring out the new—but why can’t they just get better writers?
and no one has yet to explain how dixie got her paws on tna? what happened to jarrett? I thought he owned it???????
It’s quite simple, Jarrett only owned TNA for a few years. He went for external investment else he’d never have had the money to make it a number 2 promotion. Panda Energy owns TNA through Dixie and her majority shareholding. Jarrett was more or less a manager appointed to run things.
Keelan: What does TNA have to do to give WWE a run for their money?
Also, isn’t WWE acting the same way WCW was acting right before they went belly up? And by this I mean, cocky.
keelan: If sting ever did go to WWE(and I myself hope he doesn’t) couldn’t he have a fued with jericho and the big show (who was known as the giant in WCW) i don’t know who he would have as a partner though he could team with R-truth or Christian (who were both with sting in TNA. I guess I would like to see mayweather as a wwe superstar and get into a storyline with show but where does this leave the American Dragon Bryan Danielson and Nigel Mcguiness. So many things too little time.
