In an opening package Jim Duggan talked about Memorial Day. “USA!!!”
WWF IC Champion Marty Jannetty (with Sensational Sherri) defeated Bam Bam Bigelow (with Luna Vachon) via count-out after the Bigelow rolled Jannetty back into the ring but was blocked himself by Sherri. After the match, Bigelow attacked the champion before a number of officials came to the ring to hold him off. After the break, Sherri returned ringside and challenged Luna to a fight; the two went at it briefly before Bam Bam Bigelow came to Luna’s aid, which prompted Tatanka to make the save for Sherri.
Razor Ramon upped his wager to $5000 for a rematch with the 123 Kid who got a fluke win two weeks ago. Kid rejected the offer to Ramon’s frustration.
The Steiner Brothers squashed Rich Myers and the Executioner.
Mr. Hughes squashed Bert Centeno
Jim Duggan defeated Bill Thomas. After the match, Duggan led the crowd in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and got the USA chants going again.
Razor Ramon squashed Tony Roy with the Razor’s Edge.
Vince McMahon closed the show with an in-ring interview with Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji in which Fuji said he would be celebrating Memorial Day on June 13 after Yokozuna takes out Hulk Hogan.
