Rey Mysterio’s music hits the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the 511th edition of Smackdown!

Rey’s pleased to be back in his home state of California as he elaborates on beating Chris Jericho in the No Holds Barred Match and Extreme Rules. Stating he will use anything and everything in his arsenal to defeat the Super Heel. Jericho enters in his usual suit and tie. Jericho says he will use chairs and title belt’s to knock Mysterio out. Rey takes a punt at Chris Jericho’s promises of Knocking Mickey Rourke out. Ironically Mickey Rourke is in attendance as the camera pans to him. Rourke motions Jericho to come over to him. Chris won’t give him the time of day. Jericho continues on his verbal attack on mysterio. By promising to rip mysterio’s mask off show him for what he calls a criminal. Jericho manages to slither out of the ring and avoid the 619.

R-Truth and The Great Khali defeated Mike Knox and Dolph Ziggler via pinfall

Dolph escapes Khali’s clutches again leaving Knox in the ring. Khali hit Knox with the khali bomb for the pinfall.

Some sort of technical error a Smackdown sign appears at the bottom of the screen as well as a blurred out part.

Milena defeated Alicia Fox via pinfall

Milena using yet another new move a Split leg drop to win this one.

Morrison backstage with Josh Mathews cutting a very abstract and unusual promo on how to defeat Umaga tonight. He get interrupted by Shelton who says they have unfinished business. Morison ends up making fun of his yellow hair dye.

Jeff Hardy Ladder match promo airs includes a lot of his death defying leaps of faith. Jeff talks how ironic that they were the two men who pioneered the ladder match and how the feud will end with this type of match.

John Morrison defeated Umaga via disqualification.

Morrison gets owned in this match taking all of Umaga’s power moves. Samoan Drop, side kick off the ring apron and a spinning power slam. Umaga eventually getting disqualified for using the strap he carried to the ring. Punk eventually makes it to the ring hitting Umaga with the briefcase. Todd gets in the ring and asks Punk how he will strategise the Strap match. He says he will find a way and prove the critics wrong.

Footage Airs from WWE Superstars (Yet to debut in Australia) with Cryme Time in terupting Shelton and Haas’s Unified Tag title Match against Carlito and Primo costing them the victory.

Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas defeated Cryme Time Shad Gaspard and JTG via pinfall.

JR uses Shelton and Charlie’s tag team name The World greatest tag team. Shelton hits pay dirt on Shad to secure the pinfall.

Eve Torres defeated Layla via pinfall.

The first time Eve faced Layla after the series of competitions and cat fights. I think there is more come for this rivalry.

As Edge cuts a promo on his success in ladder matches. Jericho’s music hits, chris is nowhere to be seen. Rey then enters with his usual hood mask. As he begins to greet his young fans in the entrance way he is attacked by a fan where the same hood mask hits rey and jumps the rail (this just entices fans to jump the rail) pull the mask of revealing himself to be Jericho. He continues to throw Mysterio into the rails and proceeds to take his mask off, Jeff makes the save scaring Jericho off. Jeff agrees to go on with the match as a handicap match (Edge and Jericho vs. Jeff). As the camera zooms in for Jericho’s 2nd attempt at a pinfall Jeff’s right eye is covered in blood (Lower eye lid). Somewhere in the scuffle he must have cut it. Jeff hits Jericho with a twist of fate then he turns around and Edge hits him with the spear for the pinfall. Edge goes under the ring and grabs a ladder lays it down and sandwiches Jeff’s body between it. Holding the belt high. Referee Scott Armstrong puts rubber gloves on and attends to Jeff eye injury and a Paramedic continues after the recap match video.
