The show opened with the infamous footage of Mr Perfect jumping Shawn Michaels out on the New York street. Security broke them up to the displeasure of the fans queuing outside.

In a KOTR Qualifying Match, Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Typhoon at 5:08 with a Samoan Drop and the diving headbutt.

Yokozuna (with Mr. Fuji) squashed PJ Walker with the Bonzai Drop.

Mr. Perfect squashed Iron Mike Sharpe with the Perfect Plex.

A hungry Bobby Heenan is chasing a ring girl, trying to get her phone number.

Mr Hughes defeated the Cannonball Kid (Sean Waltman) with two chokeslams.

A group of wrestlers wearing lumberjack shirts come to ringside for the main event.

HBK came out on crutches claiming he was injured.

WWF IC Champion Shawn Michaels defeated Jim Duggan in a lumberjack match via disqualification at around the 18-minute mark when Mr. Perfect interfered and prevented Michaels from scoring the pin. Duggan was clearly out for the count after being legdropped on the outside by Yokozuna.
