Jim Duggan defeated HBK via count-out at 11:17 when Shawn left through the crowd after being clotheslined over the barrier; after the match, Duggan grabbed a microphone and started a protest, claiming he wouldn’t leave unless he got a rematch.

A King of the Ring Report aired where it was announced that WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan would face Yokozuna at the event; during the segment it was announced by Gene Okerlund that Jim Duggan had left the ring following his sit-down strike.

Doink the Clown defeated the Kamikaze Kid via submission with the Stump Puller at 2:05 (this was Sean Waltman’s TV debut).

A vignette aired promoting the debut of the Smoking Gunns.

Bob Backlund defeated Duane Gill with a bridge at 3:39. During the match it was announced WWF IC Champion Shawn Michaels would defend against Jim Duggan the following week in a lumberjack match. Vince McMahon then interviewed Duggan at ringside about next week’s match.

The Headshrinkers (with Afa) defeated Jay Sledge & Jim Bell at 5:43 when Fatu pinned Bell with the splash off the top. Before the ath legend Capt. Lou Albano was introduced to the crowd and did guest commentary for the contest.

Bobby Heenan is backstage with Shawn Michaels. He asks Michaels how it feels to be “stabbed in the back” by Jack Tunney, who made the rematch with Duggan next week. Michaels is acting like a whinny kid.
