Matt Hardy Injures Hand At Backlash; Looking At 6 Weeks of Recovery
Although at first glance he did not seem to be favoring his hand during the match, several websites including The Wrestling Observer are reporting that Matt Hardy broke his hand during the I Quit Match with his brother Jeff at last night’s PPV and will be out for up to 6 weeks for recovery.
This couldn’t come at worse time for the WWE veteran, who had been taking on a more prominent heel role as of late.

Well, he wrestled with the cast on tonight on RAW, so hopefully it means he won’t actually miss any time.
Matt’s demonstrated some good mic skills and could possibly do some non-wrestling segments like the Miz did this past Raw. He can also do tag matches and not be heavily involved as well as quick and easy matches against ‘lesser’ opponents.
Might not be a bad thing for him, will be interesting to see who he fueds with next?
Hardys hand broke right!!!!! i really believe that, if ii was broke in 3 places he would not be out there in singles nor would he be typeing blogs. gimme a break.
No it is actually broken, maybe not in three places, but it’s legit. He’s just working through it. Ironically it’s made his character better.
