In quite a shocking move rookie standout Jack Swagger defeats Matt Hardy tonight for the ECW championship.

It is quite clear now that WWE see Swagger as a hot prospect and are quickly cycling him up the ranks before being moved to one of the bigger brands.

So far he has shown strong performances in the ring and on the mic (in the whole Tommy Dreamer angle) and has a great big man look.

Although “Next Brock Lesnar” may be too soon, he definitely has the “it” factor. Lets just hope WWE doesn’t drown him before he is ready.
