Lena Yada On Her Release, More Bad Stock News, Primo Colon News

- Former WWE backstage interviewer Lena Yada recently posted the following on her release from WWE:

“I got a call Monday morning when I was at the hospital with dad. Kinda knew it was coming to be honest. Am I sad? Yes. Will I move on? Yes. If I will continue to train or seek another outlet is still up in the air. There are many rumors circulating in the system about the reason for my release. Only Vince himself will know. I’ve had a very fulfilling time so far with WWE. Could I have gone further? I believe yes. BUT! we all have to remember that it is a business at the end of the day.”

- WWE stock has tumbled even lower today closing at just $9.31, which is down 24% since Monday. The lowest it reached was $9.24. It seems WWE are taking their hit late after initially touting their good stock when the rest of Wall Street had already started sliding. If it hits an $8 my sister said she’d buy me one share for Christmas!

- Although it’s not major news as wrestlers always get new names when they come to WWE, the person behind Primo Colon’s name was new creative team member Michael Pavone. I found this particularly interesting because Pavone wrote several episodes of Prison Break, including one where a charcter called Primo had a short role.

  1. Well I guess Lena was fired because Gail Kim is supposely coming so they couldn’t have two asian females in the WWE. That’s so funny if that is the case because they have so many blonds in the WWE.
