Legend Jack Brisco Passes Away At 68 Years Old

WWE Hall of Famer, NWA great and all round wrestling legend Jack Brisco has passed away this morning at 68 years old, following prolonged complications with open heart surgery he underwent 2 weeks ago.
Brisco along with his brother Gerry, are multi-time NWA tag team champions. Jack also held the world title in the 70s.
Several wrestlers have reacted to his passing on Twitter:

Finally, a wrestler who lived a good, full life before he died. One of the all-time greats, he comes from an era that had real champions, not these five-time champions in one year. Guys like him gave wrestling credibility, with less imphasis on gimmicks and more on pure wrestling. He will be missed.
We will miss Jack Briso, Pure Mat Wrestler with heart of a Champion.
I remember the Brisco brother’s classic battles with the Funk’s as a young kid and I always admired the way the Brisco’s conducted themselves even though they were heels most of the time.Pro wrestling ,not sports entertainment, has lost a true legend. Jack rest in peace and thanks for the memories
