Lauren Mayhew On Her Release, ROH Star Snubs WWE, Hogan Supplements, Tribute To Troops
- Lauren Mayhew wrote the following on Twitter about her WWE ring announcing experience:
“No longer ring announcing on WWE for the time being because I will be focusing on my acting and music in the new year. I will miss my new friends.”
- Ring of Honor star Davey Richards is claiming that he recently turned down an offer from WWE and if they asked again he’d turn them down again.
- It seems Hogan isn’t too enthralled in his TNA position as he’s still working on side projects, including launching a sports supplements and nutrition website, which he will promote at the Arnold Classic in March.
- Press Release:
NEW YORK – November 24, 2009 – World Wrestling Entertainment and NBC will, once again, honor the members of the United States Armed Forces during its second annual holiday special, “WWE Tribute to the Troops.” The hour-long special will air Saturday, December 19 (9pm/8c) on NBC.
Following an entertainment tradition established by Bob Hope, WWE Superstars and Divas will head to Iraq this holiday season to put a smile on the faces of the troops serving in the U.S. military and to give thanks for their commitment to our country. This trip marks the seventh consecutive year that WWE will make its annual pilgrimage to the front lines.

So it sounds like Lauren “The Lame Announcer” Mayhew will be back to bring her trade mark whining cat sounding voice to cause the masses to vomit and lose their hearing. Wonderful… ugg…
Too bad, I liked Lauren! Does sound like she’ll be back though..
Seems Davey Richards is stark raving mad.
Davey Richards is full of shit! Perhaps he was offered a few jobs to Koslov or Khali. Not a contract. Maybe it was an FCW offer who knows? It just seems like he’s talking out of his ass!
