Lance Cade Released, Raw Rating Is In, Another 3 Hour Raw Announced

- In a shocking move Raw superstar Lance Cade has been released from WWE, only just coming off his biggest push ever; being involved with the HBK and Chris Jericho feud. One can only assume that his recent push was to give him one last shot before cutting him as “dead wood.” WWE.com noted:

“World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Lance Cade as of October 14, 2008. WWE wishes Lance the best in all future endeavors.”

This comes only a few months after his former partner Trevor Murdoch was released, recently rumored to be because of a backstage fight.

- Monday’s Raw on the USA Network drew a 3.1 cable rating.

- Speaking of Raw, Devin Cutting sent along that the December 8, 2008, episode from Philadelphia, PA will be another 3 hour broadcast. The show will start an hour earlier, rather than running an hour longer.
