Kip James formerly known as Billy Gunn has finally signed a contract for a series of dates in UK with Varsity Pro Wrestling at the end of May including a cage match with UK wrestler The UK KID. The cage match, which got announced during a VPW show in February featuring D’lo Brown was originally scheduled for April. VPW announced the change of date stating the change was due to Kip James ‘ PPV bookings in Canada, yet at the event which started the feud back in August Kip was seen telling people has was not going to be returning to England for VPW after a disagreement with UK KID who is also a part owner of the company and also stated recently that he was asked to come back to finish the feud in April in the cage but refused to return.

In August after the show where his match with UK worker Matt Vorn which was interfered by UK KID with a chair shot to set up the cage match, UK KID commented on the lack of bumps taken during the match where it was heard he said “what’s the point in them buying tickets if your not gonna wrestle” Kip James replied “I’d make more fucking money taking no bumps then you would taking 100” apparently James was so angry with his bust up and refused to do his scheduled after show meet and greet.

Andy Simmonz who worked Umaga for WWE on a UK tour and did a promo with Vince McMahon currently works with VPW said “Kip James never seems in a good mood but keeps to him self. So at 1st I thought it was a joke and a bit of banter until he refused to do the meet and greet, and looked like he was going to knock out UK KID, they argued and every one got out the way. Kip is 4 times the size of Tom The UK KID, so I don’t know what he was thinking getting on the wrong side of him, Kip called him a piece of shit right to his face as he walked out”

In February after UK KID beat D’lo Brown with a chair shot apparently Kip James was on the phone to the Commissioner after the match in front of the live crowd where Kip told the commissioner that he agrees to come over in April for the cage match.

Kip James was not on the phone and the match did not happen in April. Kip James stated I never agreed to go in April or work the UK KID if I did you’d have heard about it as id have kicked the pricks teeth down his throat .

The date has now been re announced and TNA bookings Bob Ryder has also confirmed that Kip James is booked for May 26th for VPW at Portsmouth Guildhall but it is expected that even though Kip James in a Cage will go ahead if Kip turns up, but UK KID will be taken out of the Main Event slot as part of the agreement to get Kip to agree the date due to his apparent dislike of the UK wrestler.

When UK KID was asked about the situation he said “we had a disagreement because he wouldn’t do as he was asked that’s all, he knew I was right or he wouldn’t have kicked off and thrown his toys out of the pram like a 40 year old child, I am still working the cage match”

Brave words for a 190lb guy! Which im sure will change more closer to the event as will the match as legit heat can be entertaining but never ends well.
