Johnny Devine Impersonator, Ted Turner News, Update On WWE Releases

- From former TNA star Johnny Devine:

If you could please post a notice, someone is going around impersonating me on the internet trying to obtain false bookings in my name saying :

“I am writing in regards to your show this Friday, November 14th. I will be in the area for business and noticed you have a show the weekend I am in town. I have recently parted ways with TNA and can handle my own bookings once again. As reported on the internet this week I will be going to WWE come January and I would like to get in as much work before than. Seeing I will already be in the area I can do the show for $100 as it is short notice. Let me know if you are interested. Again I apologize about the short notice its something that just came up.”

This is an example. There is someone trying desperately to sabotage my career and i need to find out who this person is so they can be dealt with. if someone has not received an email from johnnydevine@shaw.ca it is not the real johnny devine.

- Former WCW owner Ted Turner has released a book entitled “Call Me Ted.” And has been making several media appearances to promote it. No idea if it mentions wrestling specifically. The guy’s been generally quiet on that front, even during the Billionaire Ted skits in 1996.

- It’s said that both Elijah Burke and Kenny Dykstra knew their releases were coming. When being brought to TV or PPV, they’d simply leave an hour or so later and stay in the bar all night, knowing they were going to be used. In turn this also caused some bad will with WWE management.
