Jesse Ventura Show Update, Hogan Tour Gets Bloody, WWE Announcer Reshuffle, New Ref

- Press Release:
CONSPIRACY THEORY puts Ventura on the road with investigative producers June Sarpong and Alex Piper and executive producer Michael Braverman. They’re on a mission to examine possible conspiracies surrounding secret societies, global warming, alleged 9/11 cover-ups, a research center in Alaska that could be a secret government weapon and apocalyptic prophecies, to name a few. They talk to experts, eyewitnesses and examine available evidence.

“This is my personal journey to prove that there is more to these stories than you know about,” Ventura said. “We have credible sources stating their beliefs, and we look into those theories, but ultimately,
you will have to be the judge.”

CONSPIRACY THEORY is executive-produced by Ventura; A. Smith & Co.’s Arthur Smith, Kent Weed and Frank Sinton; and B2 Entertainment’s Michael Braverman and Barry Bloom. For truTV, Robyn Hutt is the executive in charge of production, while Jon Crowley serves as executive producer.

[Premieres Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 10 p.m.]

Wrestling great Hulk Hogan has come out worse off in a bloody brawl with rival Ric Flair at a promotional press conference in Sydney today.

The event at Star City Casino, to promote the Hulkamania wrestling tour later this month, veered violently out of control. However with wrestling a form of “entertainment” is must be questioned if the fight was legitimate and not staged. Was it real or fake? Have your say below. Hulk and ring rival Ric Flair let their animosity break into what appeared to be a full-scale bloody brawl. Media was shocked as Hogan began bleeding profusely from the head and was unable to get to his feet. It was a dramatic twist as the event had started well with the stars professionally discussing their careers and plans. Photographers stood in horror as Ric Flair used his trouser belt to whip anyone within range. The Daily Telegraph reports one photographer had equipment broken when Flair threw a table off the stage and into the press before diving onto photographers. The Hulkamania tour hits Sydney’s Acer Arena on November 28th.

- WWE are in an announcer pickle and are going to be trying out different combinations until they hire some more employees. The feeling is that both Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole aren’t taking the job seriously anymore, but their experience is invaluable. The plan is to pair them off with the younger announcers to see if they step it up.

- Former TNA rookie and WWE developmental wrestler Mikey Batts is back with WWE as a referee.

  1. who would have thunk, 2 steroid kings from predetor movie would gon on to become governers, fucking sad.

  2. Does it really matter? How does being in a movie affect you ability to be a good Governor? Personally if Ron Paul got shot and Ventura ran for President I’d vote fro him. He’s a damn sight more worthy than any of the wallstreet ass suckers that are currently parading around.
