Jericho’s Match Changed, HBK Interview, Cena and Rock on Same Show
- After being universally panned as a bad move, considering all three legends can no longer take bumps, WWE appears to have new plans for the Chris Jericho vs Snuka, Steamboat, Piper match.
Its listing as been removed from the WWE website, so it seems there may be a new development on Raw tonight. There has definitely been discussions of Flair actually wrestling, but in some kind of non sanctioned street fight, so as to gloss over his retirement. In other words, its not really a wrestling match. There have also been feelers from Jerry Lawler, who still wrestles regularly in Memphis.
- HBK Shawn Michaels was interviewed in the latest edition of WWE Magazine, and mentioned he’d instinctively ask either Ric Flair, or Triple H to induct him in to the Hall of Fame when he eventually goes in. Interestingly he also name dropped Bret Hart to do the honors.
“I sometimes think, ‘Will he ever make peace with me?’ I’m not in denial about what happened in Montreal. I’m OK that I was that way, but that doesn’t make it right. It’s still wrong, but it is what it is. There’s nothing I can change about that, and I don’t want to pretend it didn’t happen. It’s something that really bothered me. But in the end, I want to be inducted without all the fluff. I want the truth.”
- Interestingly both John Cena and The Rock will be appearing on the same show, the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards this Saturday. Dwayne is hosting the show and Cena will be presenting one of the awards.
Cena has been vocal about Johnson at every possible opportunity for leaving the business.

Wow, um i’m a big hbk mark, but i’m not sure bret would do it, but i would love to see it. I’m still waiting on a wrestling rivalry that was as good as the Epic Michaels/hart one
Bret Hart stated in his recent bio book, after he was inducted in the HOF that he would never appear at a WWE event or work for them again.
So for HBK to mention that he would like Bret Hart to induct him in the HOF is ludacriss to say the least.
I think HBK is still feels guilty for his part in the 97 surviour series screw job.
